Naming Elephants.

Trevor is a Director of Naming Elephants. This is a not for profit Community Interest Company, that brings together a wealth of expertise in understanding human experience and development – a practical understanding of what makes people ‘tick’ – based in neuroscience, teaching theory and social psychology. All those involved have a collective passion for sharing their learning and experience more widely, and believe strongly that:

  • All members of a community (e.g. adults, children and young people and service providers) should be key in shaping what is needed to live well
  • ‘Good’, ‘great’ and ‘outstanding’ outcomes should be defined by people in their communities - in terms of what is really wanted, and what it means to them
  • Communities are the richest source of expertise and potential for positive – and lasting – change.
